Grace Youn

Grace Youn, a highly versatile violinist known for blending rock and roll energy with classical precision, hails from Tacoma, Washington. Beginning her violin studies at age 7, Grace's talent has taken her across the United States, performing in cities like Seattle, Denver, New York, and at notable events like Formula 1 and the South by Southwest music festival in Austin. She has played solo with various orchestras and ensembles, including Conspirare and the Tacoma Youth Symphony, and has been a prize winner in several prestigious competitions.



In 2011, Grace started her YouTube channel 'grace plays violin,' exploring a mix of musical genres and gaining a substantial following. Her work extends to film, TV, music recordings, and live performances with touring artists. Currently, she's preparing her debut EP, set to release later in 2021. Grace holds degrees from the University of Texas - Austin and the University of Puget Sound, having studied under Brian Lewis and Dr. Maria Sampen. As a committed educator, she teaches at Huston-Tillotson University and Austin Suzuki Music School and conducts masterclasses around the U.S.
