Dillion Havins

Havins, hailing from Austin, TX, is not only a talented songwriter and vocalist but also stands out as one of the best solo guitarists in the contemporary music scene. His passion for music, viewed as a magical force that brings unparalleled joy and meaning, is most vividly expressed through his exceptional guitar skills. Havins’ musical style, a blend of Folk/Singer-Songwriter and Alternative Rock, is deeply influenced by guitar greats such as Bon Iver, Shakey Graves, and Phoebe Bridgers, as well as legendary figures like Bruce Springsteen and Bob Dylan.

This solo guitarist continuously integrates new influences and creative ideas into his music, allowing his sound to evolve naturally. For Havins, authenticity is key, both on and off stage. He upholds a message of love and gratitude, which he communicates powerfully through his guitar. Havins' journey as a guitarist and musician began at the age of 10. His dedication to becoming the best solo guitarist was evident as he immersed himself in the Austin Blues and Folk scenes, frequently performing across Texas. His talent was nationally recognized when he appeared on NBC’s America’s Got Talent in 2012 and represented Austin at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis in 2014. By 16, he had already released three EPs, showcasing his burgeoning skills as a guitarist.

His journey continued through his adolescent years, including a significant stint on American Idol, where he reached Hollywood week by the age of 18. Pursuing formal music education, Havins moved to Boston, MA, to attend Berklee College of Music in 2017. Even during his studies, he kept honing his skills as a best solo guitarist, writing music, performing, and collaborating with other artists.

After graduating from Berklee in May 2020, Havins returned to Austin, dedicating himself full-time to his career as a gigging musician. His recent releases include singles like “Mr. Jealousy," "Moira," and "Green Tea." In 2022, his band, Sneaky Peaches and the Fuzz, performed to over 10,000 people at Blues on the Green and opened for renowned acts like Mt. Joy, Aly & AJ, Sun Room, and Sir Woman, further cementing his status as one of the best solo guitarists.
